How it works
Your current average already secures part of the goal; the final must cover the rest. Divide what's missing by the final's weight and you get the exact score needed — or a clear safe / impossible verdict.
80 avg · 30% final · goal 90 → need 113.3 → impossible
Tips
- “Impossible” is a plan, not a verdict — ask about extra credit early.
- Double-check the syllabus weight; finals often count differently per class.
- Everything runs in your browser; nothing is uploaded.

Frequently asked questions
How is the needed score computed?
Goal minus what your current average already secures, divided by the final’s weight: need = (goal − current × (1 − w)) ÷ w.
What if I already secured my goal?
The tool says you are safe — even a zero on the final keeps you at or above goal.
What if it says impossible?
You would need over 100. Talk to your teacher about extra credit or adjust the goal.
