Frequently asked questions
Does it record tab audio?
If you tick “Share tab audio” in the browser picker, the tab audio is recorded and your microphone can be mixed in. Some browsers do not offer system audio.
Where is the recording saved?
The recording stays in your browser and downloads as WebM (MP4 on browsers that support it). Nothing is uploaded.
Why can’t I record on my phone?
Most mobile browsers do not support getDisplayMedia. Use Chrome or Edge on a computer.
