How it works
The first click starts the clock. Keep clicking the pad until the time runs out; the score is total clicks divided by the chosen seconds, in clicks per second (CPS).
What is a good CPS?
Most people reach about 5–7 CPS with a mouse. 8–10 is fast, and more than 10 is very fast. Touchscreens, mice and practice all change the result.
Tips
- Relax your hand and click with a steady rhythm.
- Use the same mouse or touchscreen for every attempt.
- Try 5 or 10 seconds first; longer rounds test endurance, not just speed.
Frequently asked questions
What is CPS?
Clicks per second: total clicks divided by the time. A score of 6 CPS means six clicks per second on average.
Why does my score change?
Browser timing, input lag, the device and how tired your hand is all affect it. Compare your own attempts, not other people’s.
Is my score uploaded?
No. The test runs in your browser; only your best score is kept in local storage on this device.
