How it works
- Enter an amount and pick two currencies. The board shows every listed currency against the base.
- Rates load live from central-bank reference data on each visit and are cached on your device for instant repeat views.
- Day change compares against the previous business day. If the network fails, a built-in table keeps the page working.
Good to know
- Reference rates update once per business day, not tick by tick. Banks and card companies add their own margins and fees.
- The rate date is always shown next to the board so you know how fresh the numbers are.
- Conversion and caching run entirely in your browser. Nothing you enter is stored or sent anywhere except the rate request itself.
Standards and sources

Frequently asked questions
Where do the rates come from?
Daily reference rates published by central banks, delivered through the free Frankfurter API. They update once per business day, not tick by tick, so treat intraday moves as approximate.
What if I am offline?
The page keeps the latest fetched rates on your device and falls back to a built-in table. The rate date is always shown so you know how fresh the numbers are.
Do you store what I convert?
No. Conversion runs in your browser. Only the latest rate table is cached on your own device to make repeat visits instant.
Is this financial advice?
No. Reference rates can differ from the rates banks and card companies actually apply, which include margins and fees.
